About Lizann
I was born in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, raised in Edinburgh, Scotland, and have always enjoyed travel and exploring new places. I love the outdoors and like to record what I see, and share it with others. Taking Fine Arts courses at University and teaching art at the elementary school level satisfied some of my artistic interests, but after moving to Kelowna and becoming a part of the exciting art community in the Okanagan, I have found more time to paint and explore different mediums.
In the pursuit of learning new techniques and growing as an artist, I have participated in workshops with different artists, and find inspiration in my love of travel and photography. As a member of the Kelowna Painters' Studio Society, and the “Impressions” group at the Rotary Centre for the Arts, I have the opportunity to paint and enjoy the company and shared talents of other artists. I am a member of the Okanagan Chapter of the Federation of Canadian Artists.

Where to see my paintings
My art can be seen at various shows throughout the year in and around Kelowna, including the annual "Art walk' in Winfield. Paintings can be viewed for sale at Picture Perfect on Lawrence Avenue and at Bite Me Organics in East Kelowna, where I display a range of paintings in a rustic setting each year in the fall.
